WELLNESS PARTNERS CELEBRATES FIVE YEARS OF IMPACT WITH THE LAUNCH OF INNOVATIVE MEMBERSHIP PLANS TO EXPAND ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE

Monrovia, Liberia – June 18, 2026 – Wellness Partners Medical Center celebrated its fifth anniversary on June 18 with an evening of reflection, gratitude, and vision, bringing together patients, partners, supporters, and community leaders under the theme “A Journey of Impact. A Legacy in the Making.” The celebration marked the launch of innovative membership plans and preventive health screening packages designed to help Liberians and members of the diaspora plan ahead for their healthcare needs while improving access to high-quality care close to home.

The new membership plans encourage individuals, families, employers, and diaspora supporters to take a proactive approach to healthcare by planning for routine and unexpected medical needs before illness occurs. Combined with a range of preventive health screening packages, the initiatives aim to reduce financial barriers, promote early detection, and make quality healthcare more convenient and accessible.

“These programs are about helping people plan ahead for their health not simply paying for healthcare after they become sick,” said Dr. Nicole Cooper, Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director. “By encouraging prevention, early detection, and advance planning, we can improve health outcomes while giving families greater peace of mind.”

During the celebration, Wellness Partners also unveiled the next phase of its expansion, including enhanced emergency, inpatient, and surgical services that will allow more Liberians to receive advanced care within the country.

“The future we are building is about impact,” Dr. Cooper said. “It is about creating a healthcare system that allows more families to receive care in Liberia, treating more conditions locally, reducing the need for expensive overseas referrals whenever possible, and giving families greater confidence that quality care is available when they need it most.”

The evening concluded with an invitation for guests to join Wellness Partners in building a future where advanced care means a trip to Wellness Partners Medical Center not a trip to the airport.
